Salt glazed stoneware, which dates back to 15th century Germany, is still fashioned and decorated by hand before being fired at high temperatures. Salt is introduced during the firing process which gives each piece its own unique look and color variation. As with any handmade ware - size, color and design will vary.

Our Primitive Brown Stoneware by Maple City Pottery is microwave, oven, dishwasher and food safe.
Do not use over a direct flame. Lead free.
