Finding and painting old barns and rural scenes was the first thing I did when I got my driver's license and borrowed my parents' car. In the following decades I went to art college, raised a family, and did free-lance artwork. Three years ago, I returned to my first love, old barns and rural scenes! I've gone back to the earth, the sky, animals and the country roads. I love to paint the old buildings that represent endurance, hard work and independence, and the old churches that represent faith and service to God.
