An Attitude of Gratitude

Thanksgiving traditions have been an important part of our family for many years, and we’re so greatful for the heritage of family, faith, and good food that’s been passed down to us! Pictured in this old family photo are many of our aunts, uncles, second cousins and great grandparents. Our grandmother is pictured on the far right foreground and our mother is sitting to her immediate left in the photo. She was just a young girl in this photo! 🙂

Here at Piper Classics, we believe Thanksgiving is one of the best holidays of the year! Getting together with family and friends, creating new memories and enjoying delicious food, all add up to a warm and wonderful holiday. Piper Classics is keenly aware of how blessed we are to have family and friends that we treasure and can share this holiday with and we are grateful for all our blessings.

Giving Thanks is something that has gotten a lot of press in the media lately because studies have shown that gratefulness is good for your health. Recognizing and paying attention to the many gifts we have, while cultivating an attitude of thankfulness for these blessings, is beneficial to physical and mental well-being. This attitude enriches our lives and changes the way we look at one another and at our world.

Thanksgiving has come to mean much more than a day in November when we gather together. It is a day to look at our lives with gratitude and thankfulness. It’s also the perfect time to slow down and take time to truly understand how fortunate we are and all the blessings we have. When you begin seeing your life with the eyes of gratefulness, and you recognize how many gifts you already have, your life seems to shift. Things long taken for granted become recognized as gifts. When thanksgiving becomes a way of life, you develop an attitude of Gratitude.

This is our family photo in 2012! It’s time for an update, but just like you we are always grateful for an opportunity to get together with those we love to celebrate this season of Thanksgiving!

Attempting to list all that fills our hearts with gratitude would be a bit much for this blog, however, we do want to make sure that you understand how grateful we are to you, our customers. Consider this. If we didn’t have you, where would Piper Classics be? We appreciate each and every one of you. We recognize how fortunate we are to be part of your homes and your lives.

Whether you have been with us from our early days as a longtime fan of Primitive and Country Décor, or if you have just recently become a new customer loving the current Modern Country and Farmhouse styles, we truly value you. Even if you aren’t a shopper and are simply browsing through our online catalog, we appreciate your interest. We are grateful that you enjoy our products and are creating cozy, beautiful homes for you and your families. We are thrilled when we offer products that you love, and appreciate feedback regarding items you are fond of as well as what you would love to see. As a home decor company, the best compliment you can give us is to allow us to become part of your home.

So, from our family at Piper Classics to yours, we wish you the Happiest Thanksgiving ever and a grateful THANK YOU for keeping us a part of your happy home!
