Simply Orange is one of my original watercolor paintings, created during a quiet afternoon when the house was still and the light was just right. I didn’t plan it out—I just followed the flow of color and emotion, letting the brush capture something bright and honest. The soft blend of tangerine, golden yellow, and deep green brings a cheerful warmth that feels fresh and inviting.

As both the artist and one of the owners at Piper Classics, it means so much to see this piece offered as a wooden wall sign in our shop. We loved these signs the moment we laid eyes on them! They are designed and crafted in the USA, by a family-owned business. (We love this!) The unique design offers a simple way to bring beauty and charm to any wall or shelf within your home. The sign is made from high-quality American hardwood planks with a hand-painted face, printed with UV-cured ink. The piece is finished with a natural walnut frame, measuring approximately 1½” thick, with the artwork inset 3/8″. Each piece is unique, with its own personality, marks, wood grain, and look. Easy to clean with a dry cloth.
